Last Saturday, the Campus Activities Board (CAB) hosted their annual “Last Blast”, the last CAB event of the school year. The event included a Qdoba lunch and outdoor games and activities.
After the students claimed their meals, groups began to head over to the sand volleyball courts, inflatable slide, and other yard games. Despite the majority of students who did not reach the end, the “wipeout” style obstacle proved to be a popular inclusion.
This event is also a transition between the old and new leadership of the organization. Emilie Heinl, the Resident Director of both Evans and Women’s Douglas is the staff advisor of this year’s CAB.
“I think they’re really good at what they do, and they really care about the students and serving students through events. I think they did really awesome.
Heinl is excited to see what the new cabinet will do.
“I think that they’re also going to do really well. They all seem like great students who also have a heart for service and for loving on students through events,” said Heinl, “I’m excited to see what they do and how they incorporate their own gifts and talents in the team next year.”
